About San Diego Photography Tours
|
All tours are led by company owner and founder Julie Kremen, a professional photographer for 20+ years with an emphasis on travel, editorial, and events. She has had hundreds of her photos published in magazines all over the world including images and travel stories for National Geographic Traveler, The Chicago Tribune, Travel Holiday, AAA’s Home & Away, and various airline magazines; her music photos have appeared on RollingStone.com and on five covers of Downbeat Magazine. Julie’s photographic passion has taken her to more than 60 countries where she has spent her time capturing the essence of various cultures, landscapes, and architecture. In 2011, after she became a Certified Professional San Diego Tour Guide, it was a natural progression for her to offer her photographic experience and talents to travelers who come to San Diego by showing off America’s Finest City...through your camera lens! |
Julie's Behind-the-Scenes Helpers
Julie will lead your tour, but she has a couple of elves to help her run a tight ship and ensure that your photo journey is a successful one.
Phil Steele is a photographer’s best friend, that is, if you want to learn photography and image editing the easy way. Phil is a photo training guru and when he is not producing his photography tutorial courses, you can find him wandering around the famous Burning Man festival photographing eclectic people and art. Favorite Photo Op in San Diego: “My favorite place to photograph is my own neighborhood, Little Italy. With so much new construction in San Diego, the architecture possibilities are always changing as is the fun public art down by the waterfront.” Desert island piece of gear: my Canon 70-200 F4 IS lens Gear wish list: Canon 5D Mark III |
Dennis Reiter—For more than 30 years, Dennis Reiter has been co-owner of Chrome Digital Professional Photo Lab in San Diego. He is the go-to guy in town for all things printed and digitally enhanced. When he is not tweeking photos or giving excellent customer service, Dennis can be found out at any Jazz related show in San Diego where he is photographing our amazing Jazz musicians, many of whom happen to be his personal friends. Favorite Photo Op in San Diego: “Presidio Park—a great place to photograph people in a setting that provides classic San Diego architecture and natural scenery for a beautiful backdrop."
